Morphe 35P Palette Review & Swatches

So here we have the gorgeous Morphe Brushes eyeshadow pallete in 35p. As can be seen in the picture this palette has beautiful purple, plum and brown shades. There are cooler toned browns aswell as warmer toned browns, great transition shades for the crease plus one beautiful shimmery and one matte highlighting colour.

It has an all essential black, which is the first colour I look for when I pick up any palette, I feel the black can be used for so much more than just darkening up the corners, it can even be used to smoke up the liner or even used instead of the liner giving a much softer liner finish than a harsh line, depending on what look you are going for of course.

Now coming on to the colour pay-off and the texture of the shadows, I feel those are extremely good considering the palettes price, which is pretty low as compared with other brands. The pigmentation of the shadows is amazing, the colours come out exactly the same on the eyes as they are in the palette.

The texture of the shadows is very smooth, except a few are a bit powdery and can lead to a bit of fall-out, but I personally don't mind that as long as the colours are amazing. Also the fall-out problem can easily be cleaned and for the price of the palette.. I really cant complain. Here are the swatches and they speak for themselves: (and excuse my sloppy swatches :P)

They blend so easily and beautifully on the eyes that since the time I've bought this palette, I'm having a hard time keeping it down. Even if I'm not doing a purple look, I find myself reaching for this palette for the gorgeous brown transition shades it has.

The black in this palette is a true true black shadow which really surprised me because I've found it really hard to find a good true black shadow, they're either very sheer or give a grey look once you blend them in. Not this one, it stays black and blends perfectly :)

Finally let's talk about the stunning purples in this palette. It has such a wide range of purples that you can easily do any kind of purple look on any kind of skin tone because there is a purple in there to match every skin colour.

It has a total of 35 shadows, thus the name 35p ("P" standing for purples or plums). The size of the pan of the shadows is 1" each and the size of the palette is 9" x 6 1/2".

Purple being my favourite colour was obviously a big reason why this is the first palette I bought from Morphe and I can truely say that this was definitely not the last. The pigmentation, texture, colour range and the price have definitely left me craving for more of these palettes :)

Hoping to be here very soon with another gorgeous Morphe Palette ;)
